Jeanette Biddle

Born Colac 1950 ( No Doctor or Hospital in Apollo Bay)

Went to School at Apollo Bay Consolidated School.

Started work at Apollo Bay Hospital as Doctors Receptionist to Dr Gordon Ames and worked there for 5 years.

Went to Melbourne and worked at MLC Insurance for three years and then went to the United Kingdom for two years. Worked in London and also as a cook on a 90ft yacht cruising the Greek Islands.

Returned home and worked in Melbourne 1 year before going to Sydney.  Lived and worked in Sydney 6 years.

Purchased a home in Colac in 1984 and worked in Insurance before coming back to Apollo Bay to Work at Great Ocean Road Real Estate where I have been for 13 years.

Community involvement – was on OHCS board for 7 years, was in Lions for 17 years, currently Trustee Apollo Bay Cemetery Trust, Committee of Apollo Bay RSL, Colac Legacy (looking after war widows in Apollo Bay ) Treasurer of Otway Anglican Central Council and a Justice of the Peace.

Family have lived in Apollo Bay since the 1880’s so firmly entrenched in the area.

Fanatical Geelong Football Club supporter, enjoy the garden and walking my spoilt dog, “Cricket”
